About the Role

In this role, you will design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using your knowledge of software development and Agile practice. You will collaborate closely with business support teams, product managers, security and architecture to assist in resolving critical production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert that will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. You are proficient in at least one core programming languages or packages.

What You'll Do

Strong hands-on development experience on Java / J2EE technologies
Total professional experience of 5 to 7 years
Hands-on Experience in application/Product Development using Spring framework
Strong working knowledge of Java Messaging Services (JMS)
Strong Working knowledge of RESTful APIs
Strong working knowledge of SQL
Strong working knowledge of one of ORM technologies like Hibernate / IBatis / MyBatis
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or any other NoSQL DB
Experience in Continuous integration tools like Jenkins / Bamboo
Knowledge in Code Quality tools/frameworks like Sonar
Strong knowledge of Automated Testing. Unit Testing, Integration Testing & Contract Testing.
Experience working in Agile

Knowledge of PLSQL
Knowledge of SOAP APIs
Knowledge of SQL Performance Tuning
Experience with Cloud
Knowledge of Cloud Foundry (Pivotal CF)
Experience working in Kafka or Azure Event Hub
On-call support experience with PagerDuty, Service Now
Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools like Nagios, New Relic
Knowledge of Splunk
Experience working with Lean and Extreme Programming (XP)
