Sr Software Engineer

Scope:
• We are building a highly resilient, scalable, and world-class SaaS-based Allocation & Replenishment Planning using modern technologies.
• To achieve this, we need a strong Performance Engineering team within our Product Development (PD) organization.
• As a Performance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role testing the application performance and proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

What you’ll do:

• Design and execution of comprehensive performance test strategies across Planning Allocation & Replenishment offers.
• Develop test scenarios and test scripts.
• Execute end-to-end performance testing, analyse results, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate closely with development team to address regressions and optimize code for performance.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, features, and technologies through proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Prepare and present detailed performance reports, effectively communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks and utilities to improve efficiency.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: 4-5 years (P4 role) in Performance Testing.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of performance testing methodologies with strong expertise in JMeter.
• Diagnostics: Skilled in analysing thread dumps, GC logs, and heap dumps to troubleshoot performance issues
• Cloud and other tools: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

• Scripting: Jmeter scripting

• Tools: Experience with tools like App Dynamics, New relic, Pendo, Fiddler, Blazemeter, Postman ..

• Operating Systems: Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Databases & APIs: Good understanding of REST APIs and experience with any databases like Oracle, PostGres, Snow flake.
• AI skills: Exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies.
• Agile Methodologies & Tools: Comfortable working in Agile environments with strong expertise in Jira, a solid understanding of the performance engineering lifecycle, and active participation in Agile ceremonies.
• Capacity Planning & FinOps: Strong understanding of FinOps principles with hands-on experience in capacity planning, cost optimization, and resource utilization exercises on Cloud
