Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java 17+ CockroachDB Kafka Kubernetes and Ruby along with domain experience in WealthManager. This hybrid role requires strong English language skills and offers a day shift schedule. The position does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java 17+ CockroachDB Kafka Kubernetes and Ruby.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of applications by leveraging Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions using CockroachDB.
  • Integrate and manage messaging systems using Kafka to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth application performance.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the software development process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design implementation and maintenance.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of Java 17+ CockroachDB Kafka Kubernetes and Ruby.
  • Demonstrate experience in the WealthManager domain with a focus on financial software solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Show proficiency in English with the ability to read write and speak at a novice level.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 7 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Display strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative team environment.
