About the Role
We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager West to build and scale our optical distribution network for sunglasses and frames across Western India.
This role is suited for an optical industry professional who understands the realities of the trade optical retailers, distributors, margins, recovery, and on-ground execution and is motivated by the opportunity to build something from scratch with real ownership.
You will operate from our Mumbai Head Office and work closely with senior leadership to establish strong foundations for long-term regional and national expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Distribution Growth
- Drive sales growth and turnaround across the Western region
- Build and expand optical distributor networks
- Identify, onboard, and activate new distributors and key optical retailers
- Strengthen B2B penetration and market presence for sunglasses and frames
Market Expansion & Trade Development
- Leverage and expand relationships with opticians, chains, and distributors
- Improve brand visibility, placement, and rotation at the store level
- Stay closely aligned with evolving market trends and retailer expectations, providing actionable insights to support business decisions
Leadership & Execution
- Work closely with the Business Head to define the expansion strategy
- Support the setup of scalable processes and systems
- Play a key role in building and mentoring regional teams as the business grows
Desired Profile
- 56 years of experience in optical / eyewear sales & distribution
- Strong understanding of optical retail and trade dynamics
- Proven ability to build or expand regional sales networks
- Existing relationships in Western India optical markets are preferred
- Entrepreneurial, execution-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Willing to be market-facing while operating from Mumbai HO
Compensation & Growth
- Fixed CTC up to 7,00,000 per annum (based on experience & fit)
