Job Summary

The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our airline domain projects. With a focus on automation and continuous integration the candidate will utilize their expertise in Azure Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL to enhance product reliability and performance. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams during day shifts.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability in the airline domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects using Jira and other tools.
  • Design and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and TestNG to streamline testing processes.
  • Utilize Azure for cloud-based testing and deployment ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Integrate Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery enhancing the development workflow.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Optimize test environments using Maven to ensure consistency and reliability across different platforms.
  • Apply PL/SQL skills to validate data integrity and performance in database-driven applications.
  • Monitor and improve test coverage ensuring all critical functionalities are thoroughly tested.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and design effective test cases.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of testing standards and practices within the organization. Qualifications
  • Possess strong technical skills in Azure Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL essential for effective testing and automation.
  • Have domain expertise in the airline industry enabling a deep understanding of specific testing requirements and challenges.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail crucial for identifying and resolving defects.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Show adaptability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work efficiently.
  • Display a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies and methodologies.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering roles.
