Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a background in Program Management being a plus. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel required. The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Utilize Java and Selenium to automate test scripts and improve testing efficiency.
  • Identify document and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability after changes.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with developers to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Maintain and update automated test scripts to reflect changes in software functionality.
  • Provide regular reports on testing progress defect status and quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Show proficiency in identifying and documenting software defects.
  • Exhibit strong collaboration skills with development teams.
  • Have experience in conducting regression testing.
  • Possess knowledge of quality standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis on defects.
  • Show experience in maintaining and updating automated test scripts.
  • Provide regular reports on testing progress and defect status.
  • Mentor junior quality engineers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in quality engineering.
