Sr QA Engineer - WebdriverIO & JavaScript/TypeScript

Scope:

• Core responsibilities include test automation development, functional testing, develop, and maintain the testcases.

Our current technical environment:

• Software: Java, Microservices, Rest API, Spring Boot, RDBMS, React JS, Java Script, HTML, CSS,
• Frameworks/Others: Spring Boot, GIT, RDBMS, Oracle
• Test Automation Framework: WebdriverIO, Mocha, cucumber and Allure Reporting

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of automation into the testing pipeline.
• Implement best practices for test automation, improving test efficiency and coverage.
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, ensuring high-quality software releases.
• Create and maintain documentation for automation processes and test cases.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for test automation, ensuring smooth execution of automated tests in various environments.

What we are looking for:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Test Automation development
• Minimum 1.5 years of Strong experience with WebdriverIO and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on expertise in writing end-to-end tests for web applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and integration of automated tests into pipelines.
• Familiarity with Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs for cross-browser testing
• Understanding of API testing and automation frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
• Functional experience in any of the Blue Yonder products (Nice to have, not mandatory)

• RDBMS concepts, basic SQL
