Job Description Naval Architect (FEED & Detailed Engineering)

Experience-10 to 20 years of Offshore oil & gas experience.

Location- Mumbai/Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

1. To support Lead Engineer, Guide & assist the team of Job Engineers/3D Modelers/Designers & Other project supporting personnel to execute FEED/Detailed engineering activities in the field of Naval Architecture.

Manage interfaces and to work closely alongside other disciplines, operations teams throughout FEED, Detailed design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning. Knowledge of fabrication yard procedures, Installation engineering

Initiate and oversee specific design tasks performed by Engineers/Designers/3D Modelers relating to Naval Architecture analysis and design.

Proficiency in Naval engineering of domestic as well as international projects, interacting with domestic/international Clients and third party approving authorities.

Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the quality assurance system relevant to the project, Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices for the project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

2. Managing interfaces and working closely alongside other disciplines, operations teams throughout FEED, Detailed design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning

3. Plan, lead and conduct naval Architectural activities of Transportation and Installation Engineering Stability, Bollard Pull and Hydrodynamic Motion analysis

4. Jacket Flotation and Upending Analysis, Mooring Analysis, Float over Analysis

5. Stowage and Sea fastening Arrangement of offshore Structures.

6. Finalization of Sea fastening design drawings and analysis reports including material selection and project specifications etc.

7. Manage interfaces and to work closely alongside other disciplines, operations teams throughout FEED, Detailed design, Procurement. Knowledge of Transportation and Installation engineering Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the quality assurance system relevant to the project, Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices for the project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
