Sr MIS Analyst

Job Scope

The Data Engineer MIS will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable reporting solutions, conducting performance analysis, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role involves managing MIS operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging modern data engineering and visualization tools to strengthen business intelligence capabilities.

You'll be Responsible for?

• Manage MIS operations and ensure timely delivery of reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, refine, and translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from RDBMS, NoSQL sources.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data processing.
• Automate reporting workflows using Python and ETL.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Apache Superset or BI Tool.
• Configure and monitor Linux Cron jobs or modern orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) for automated scheduling.
• Prepare advanced analysis and trend reports using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and other BI tools.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across reporting pipelines.

What you'd have?

• Strong expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning
• Proficiency in Python for data automation and scripting
• Working knowledge of Linux systems and job scheduling Added Advantage Skills
• Experience with BI tools such as Apache Superset or any BI tool
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for stakeholder collaboration
• Exposure to AI/ML tools
