What youll be doing...

As a Senior Manager of NS, you will be a key contributor to the Service Assurance applications team, responsible for change management and Event management systems. You will be working in some of the cutting-edge technologies and driving the Service Assurance systems to the next level in its journey to the North Star architecture.

• Creating, leading, shaping and executing programs and technical initiatives to improve people skills, process optimization and modern technology adoption to create higher value for the business.

• Leading a team, planning and reviewing their work, removing their barriers and solving problems to help them be optimally productive.

• Lead a team of high performing engineers working on multiple projects and releases

• Work with your partners across the organization to develop processes and strategies for producing new features and products that delight our customers

• Manage all the stages of large projects from concept to design through implementation and release

• Hold a high bar for software design, quality, and execution

• Cultivate a strong SDLC culture by adopting the NSOM process. Define and track meaningful metrics to measure success.

• Work jointly with the PO (Product Owner) to plan and execute tactical (product) and strategic (enterprise) level projects

• Responsible for setting goals that are aligned with the business needs and leading your team to deliver them successfully

• Guide and coach the team catering to individual career aspirations and setting measurable goals for them

• Mentor team members in software development skills and leadership responsibilities

• Ability to build SME knowledge in the team and set goals to the individual which will effectively utilize their individual skills.

• Work with senior leadership to build business cases for new technology adoption

What were looking for...

Youll need to have:

• Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Eight or more years of relevant experience

• Telecom knowledge and Industry view

• Software development experience in a diverse set of areas including scalable and responsive web applications, native app development, reusable and extensible frameworks.

• Experience in diverse technology stack including Java/J2EE, Spring Reactive, Micro-services, React JS and Micro Frontends including experience leading multiple technical teams in such technologies.

• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) landscape including Generative AI and Agentic AI to drive purposeful innovation and build a high-performing team.

• Ability to build SME knowledge in the team and set goals for the individual which will effectively utilize their individual skills.

• Experience in cross skilling team members

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A masters degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering.

• Problem solving and analytical skills.

• Technical knowledge and learning mindset.

• Exceptional communication skills; written, oral, and presentation.

• Experience working in an evolving and collaborative environment and working cross-functionally with all levels of management.
