Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom line impact
- Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities that helps them succeed in their business goals.
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high
- quality work on tight schedules.
- Project management
- prioritization , planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments
- Operational Excellence
- monitoring & operation of production services
- Career management and development of direct reports
- He/she should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical.
They would need to also balance technical leadership with savvy business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience designing and developing large scale, high
- traffic applications
