About the Role

We are seeking a Senior MEAN Stack / Full Stack Developer with 78 years of strong hands-on experience, including Angular (5+ years) and Node.js (2+ years), along with experience in AWS serverless technologies.

This role focuses on developing and enhancing customer-facing web applications using modern Angular practices, and building scalable backend services using AWS Amplify, Lambda functions, and DynamoDB.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of component-based architecture, state management, front-end performance optimization, and cloud-native/serverless application development to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend (Angular)

• Design and develop high-performance, customer-facing features using Angular
• Work on new feature development, enhancements, and optimization of existing modules
• Build scalable and reusable UI components using component composition and modular architecture
• Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable UI code using SASS/SCSS and Angular best practices
• Manage application state effectively using state management/store frameworks (e.g., NgRx)
• Optimize UI performance, responsiveness, and user experience for production-grade applications

Backend & Cloud (AWS Serverless)

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and AWS Lambda (serverless architecture)
• Design and integrate REST APIs to support end-to-end feature delivery
• Work with AWS Amplify for:
• Frontend-backend integration
• Authentication
• Hosting
• CI/CD workflows
• Design and manage DynamoDB data models with a focus on scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., Amplify Auth, IAM, Cognito as applicable)
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and system reliability

Engineering Excellence

• Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to engineering standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of total software development experience
• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Angular (expert-level expertise required)
• Strong understanding of:
• State management (NgRx or similar)
• Component-based and reusable UI architecture
• SASS/SCSS for scalable styling
• Proven experience building polished, high-performance, responsive UIs used directly by customers
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies, including:
• AWS Amplify
• AWS Lambda
• DynamoDB
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• End-to-end experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js)
• Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems on AWS
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration best practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and modern DevOps practices
• Exposure to performance tuning (both front-end and back-end)
