Customer Trust team ensures that Amazon is a safe and trustworthy place to shop and an amazing place to build a successful business selling products.
We support this mission through providing a secure and accurate Identity verification platform.
Identity verification is becoming a critical component to protect our customers from bad actors and provide fast and secure registration and account management capabilities.
We provide an end to end solution for identity verification and account lifecycle management for various Amazon businesses across globe (North America, Europe, Japan, China and more).
Our customers include Mechanical Turk, Selling on Amazon, Amazon Pay, Amazon Flex etc.
We continuously strive to scale our systems to serve millions of Amazon customers with high accuracy, least friction, in a highly secure manner to enable a safe and secure shopping experience for customers.
The Role: We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our team in Hyderabad and join us as we continue to provide the best possible solutions for verifying and validating sellers in order to keep Amazon safe for our customers.
A successful candidate will bring a deep technical expertise, strong business acumen and judgment, excellent project management skills, solid communication skills, and be driven to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
You will also have a focus on hiring and developing your team, have strong skills in analyzing and improving software development processes, and are highly customer focused and is passionate about solving real business problems.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1.
Define the strategy and roadmap for your team
- Hire and develop the industry’s best talent to build a strong and well
- balanced team
2.
Work across the organization to deliver the best in
- class solutions for our customers while balancing critical business objectives
- Build the next generation systems for the idea to allow rapid innovation in the area of User Experience
3.
Build software that easily extends to meet the high growth of Amazon's third party seller business and capabilities
4.
Own and operate mission critical services that are highly reliable and serve at a low latency
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience designing and developing large scale, high
- traffic applications
