Job Summary


The Sr. Manager Sales & Marketing (Regional Head North) will lead sales operations and drive revenue growth for Companys product portfolio including Light & Heavy Liquid Paraffin, Lubricant Oils, White Oil, and Petroleum Jelly. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, strengthening strategic relationships, and ensuring achievement of regional sales targets across India. The candidate will also lead the sales team, enhance market intelligence, and collaborate with internal functions to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1520 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the Chemical / Petrochemical / Solvents industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial solvents, petrochemical intermediates, and specialty chemicals, including:

1.Solvent Classification by Polarity

A. Polar Protic Solvents: Water, Methanol, Ethanol, Isopropanol (IPA), Acetic Acid

B. Polar Aprotic Solvents: Acetone, DMF, DMSO, Acetonitrile, THF

C. Non-Polar Solvents: Hexane, Toluene, Benzene, Petroleum Ether, Cyclohexane

2. Solvent Classification by Chemical Type

A. Hydrocarbon Solvents: Hexane, Heptane, Toluene, Xylene

B. Oxygenated Solvents: Methanol, Ethanol, Acetone, MEK

C. Halogenated Solvents: DCM, Chloroform, Carbon Tetrachloride

D. Nitrogen-Containing Solvents: DMF, DMAc, Pyridine, Acetonitrile

3. ICH Classification Knowledge (Regulatory Awareness)

Class 1 (Avoid): Benzene, Carbon Tetrachloride, 1,2-Dichloroethane

Class 2 (Use Limits): Methanol, Toluene, Acetonitrile, Chloroform, Hexane, DCMMF, DMAc, Pyridine, Acetonitrile

4. Solvent Classification by Application / Use

A. Reaction Solvents: Toluene, THF, DMF, Chloroform, Carbon Tetrachloride

B. Extraction Solvents: Hexane, Ethyl Acetate, Methanol

C. Cleaning Solvents: IPA, Acetone

D. Recrystallization Solvents: Methanol, Ethanol, Acetone

E. Chromatography Solvents: Hexane, Methanol, Acetonitrile

5. Special Solvent Types

A. Green Solvents: Water, Ethanol, Ethyl Lactate

B. Supercritical Solvents: Supercritical CO
