City Head, Offline Sales - Mumbai
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Market Head - Multi-Product Distribution to lead the growth strategy across Credit Cards, Insurance (Life & General), Assets( HL), Forex, Investments, and other financial offerings. This role requires proven experience in business development, revenue delivery, relationship management, and the ability to lead large, field-driven sales teams. Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial go-getters with sharp analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute GTM strategies across retail financial products.
- Own city/regional P&L; drive volume, activation, and revenue growth.
- Expand footprint through open market channels, merchant tie-ups, and digital integrations.
- Lead and manage large field teams including DSAs, proprietary sales teams, and merchant-acquisition agents.
- Create scalable channel models in Credit Cards, Insurance, and Investment products.
- Build strategic partnerships with key TATA ecosystem players (TCS, Croma etc.).
- Foster long-term relationships with bank partners, insurers, channel partners, and merchants.
- Serve as a bridge between central leadership and on-ground teams to align business priorities.
- Hire, train, and mentor high-performing city and area sales teams.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure productivity benchmarks are achieved across products.
- Use analytics to identify opportunity areas, customer segments, and channel ROI.
- Leverage data to build monthly forecasts and course-correct with agility.
- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance across all product verticals.
- Liaise with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Operations to ensure a robust operating rhythm.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education : Post Graduate (MBA Preferred) in Business, Marketing, or Finance.
- Experience : 6-8 years in financial services distribution, with at least 2-4 years in team leadership roles.
- Domain Expertise : Credit Cards, Life/General Insurance, or multi-product distribution is essential.
- Skills :
- Strong in direct/field sales, channel management, and sales analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- High energy, go-getter attitude with strong bias for execution and results.
- Should be willing to travel extensively as per the business requirements and KRA fulfilment.
- Ability to navigate matrix structures and drive performance.
