JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Role Purpose
The Business Head will own end-to-end P&L of the leasing/Subscription business and build a scalable, profitable subscription-led asset rental model similar to Rentomojo.
The role involves strategy, operations, asset lifecycle management, revenue growth, collections, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Revenue Strategy
- Define and execute overall business strategy for leasing & subscription model.
- Drive GMV, MRR, ARR, and profitability.
- Identify new revenue streams:
- Long-term leasing
- Corporate/B2B leasing
- Rent-to-own
- Buy-back & resale channels
2. P&L Ownership
- Full responsibility for top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Control key cost heads:
- Asset procurement
- Warehousing
- Logistics & last-mile delivery
- Repairs & refurbishment
- Bad debts & write-offs
3. Asset Lifecycle Management
- Own end-to-end asset lifecycle:
- Procurement
- Utilization optimization
- Depreciation planning
- Refurbishment & re-leasing
- Ensure 24 lease cycles per asset for maximum ROI.
4. Supply Chain, Warehousing & Logistics
- Build city-wise warehousing strategy.
- Optimize:
- Inventory turns
- Warehouse costs
- Delivery & installation SLAs
- Manage vendor ecosystem for logistics, assembly, and maintenance.
5. Customer Experience & Retention
- Own customer journey from onboarding to returns.
- Reduce churn through:
- Upgrade paths
- Flexible tenure plans
- Service excellence
- Drive NPS improvement.
6. Credit, Risk & Collections
- Define credit policy in partnership with finance & fintech partners.
- Oversee:
- KYC & credit checks
- Security deposit structures
- Default management & recovery
- Maintain bad debt within defined thresholds.
7. Technology & Systems
- Work closely with tech teams to:
- Implement asset tracking (barcode/RFID)
- Subscription billing systems
- CRM & collections automation
- Ensure data-driven decision-making.
8. Team Leadership & Org Building
- Build & lead cross-functional teams:
- Operations
- Supply Chain
- Finance & Collections
- Customer Experience
- City Operations
- Hire and develop leadership roles (Ops Head, SCM Head, City Heads).
9. Partnerships & Vendor Management
- Develop strong relationships with:
- OEMs & manufacturers
- Logistics partners
- Refurbishment vendors
- Fintech & payment partners
10. Expansion & Scaling
- Launch new cities & categories.
- Drive geographic expansion with standardized playbooks.
- Explore franchise / FOCO / hybrid models if required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Must-Have Experience
- Leadership role in:
- Furniture / appliance leasing
- Consumer durables rental
- Vehicle leasing / fleet management
- Subscription-based asset-heavy businesses
- Strong exposure to multi-city operations.

Reporting To
- You will report to the CEO of EBG Group
Working Days
- Monday to Saturday Working (6 days a week), 10 am to 7pm
Joining Time
- Within 30 to 45 days from the date of Offer given
Reporting Office
- You will be based at our new EBG Group Central Office, Hitec City Area, Hyderabad
Salary Package
- Your Approximate Salary package will be as per the industry standards
