Job Description

The incumbent shall identify, develop, nurture and manage relationships with government departments and entities, to meet the business and outreach goals of the Foundation.


REPORTING: Senior Director - Outreach at Edunet Foundation


RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • National Government and institutional relationship management
  • Developing and managing relationship with key central and state government ministries and departments on behalf of the Foundation. Key ministries and departments relevant to Edunet Foundation are those dealing with education, skilling, sustainability, rural affairs, health/family welfare, gender related issues. Examples Ministry of Education, AICTE, Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Women & Child Development, NITTTRs
  • Establishing and managing collaborations with relevant stakeholders by doing the following:
  • Contacting potential stakeholders via email or phone to pitch programs and identify synergies with their initiatives.
  • Conducting meetings on phone, online or face to face - to develop and nurture relationships.
  • Formalizing partnerships/collaborations and ensuring that collaborations are meaningful and win-win.
  • Building and strengthening these relationships
  • Working with these partners and internal stakeholders to ensure that goals are met
  • Maintaining a structured log of all outreach activities.
  • Conducting periodic reviews with external stakeholders
  • Sending regular reports and providing feedback to management about what is and is not working on timely basis


LOCATION & TRAVEL:

This position is based in Delhi/NCR. Local/regional/Pan India travel may be required.


EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree from a good institution/university
  • Preferably MBA
  • Must have 5-10 years of relevant work experience


COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Proficiency (written and spoken) in English and Hindi
  • Presentation skills must be top notch
  • Proposal writing in good and high-quality English is a requirement
