Role: Sr. Manager/ AGM-Legal

Work Location: MG Road, Bangalore

Exp: 12+ Yrs

Qualification: LLB/ LLM

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review various legal documents such as Agreements, JDA, GPA, Joint Ventures, Sale Deeds, MOUs, Term Sheet, and other legal documents.
• Coordinating for Civil Litigation with External Advocates
• Coordinating with internal departments- CRM, Accounts, Projects, Design.
• Ensure compliance with RERA, BBMP, BDA, BIAPPA, and other local municipal laws/regulations.
• Coordinate with BBMP/ BDA/ BIAPPA for Khata Transfer, Building plan approvals and Occupancy/ Completion certificates.
• Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely renewals of licenses/approvals.
• Coordinate with sub-registrar offices for property registration and stamping.
• Ability to review titles accurately and efficiently.
• Assist legal due diligence for land/property acquisitions (title verification, encumbrance checks, approvals).
• Organize the files and legal documents before handing over the same to external counsel for Title Due Diligence.
• Coordinating and Obtaining title opinion from External Advocates
• Satisfactory knowledge of day to day operations of Legal Department.
