Job Title: Sr. Manager Advanced Refractory Manufacturing (Tap Hole Clay)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Manufacturing to lead the production operations for Tap Hole Clay (THC) in a leading refractory manufacturing setup. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end plant manufacturing operations, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency while leading a large shop-floor team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDCP) across the plant.
• Lead and develop shop-floor teams including operators and supervisors.
• Implement lean manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, supply chain and other support functions to improve plant performance.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and manufacturing best practices.
• Monitor product quality and drive problem solving using tools like 8D, Fishbone, Why-Why analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Production / Chemical / Ceramic / Industrial Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations within refractory, ceramic, or material processing industries.
• Strong exposure to shop-floor operations, process improvement and team management.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, TPM and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
