Sr. Lead Engineer, Digital IP Verification & Emulation

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be leading the verification/emulation planning and execution for complex IP/Sub-system projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality and performance standards for our IP products. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for solving challenging verification problems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and execution of verification plans for complex IP/Sub-system designs that spans Pre-Silicon verification and FPGA/Emulation platforms.
• Define verification strategies, methodologies, and coverage goals to ensure comprehensive verification of IP components.
• Collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams to identify verification requirements and drive testbench development.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance verification environments, including testbenches, simulation models, and test scripts.
• Lead FPGA and/or Emulator development for proving IPs. Lead embedded test development to meet the Application needs.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and expertise in verification best practices.
• Analyse and debug complex design issues, ensuring high-quality and robust IP designs.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver verification solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications/ Skills :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10-20 years of experience in IP design verification and emulation with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
• Expertise in verification methodologies (UVM, OVM, etc.), tools (VCS, Xcelium, etc.), and languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, etc.).
• Experience in FPGA and/or Emulator platforms and embedded test development for proving IPs.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU, memory, peripherals, and interconnects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues and drive solutions.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding verification teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL) for automation of verification tasks.
