Sr. Java Engineer (angular, spring, postgreSQL, kubernetes)

Your role

Do you have a proven track record of building an infrastructure privileged access control application? Are you experienced at iteratively refining stakeholder’s requirements and removing any ambiguity? Have you designed and built best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using the latest technologies?

We’re looking for a java developer to:

• be part of a fast-pace development team building modern IT applications – in the area of infrastructure privileged access management
• collaborate with stakeholders from Unix, Windows and Database platforms and Privileged access tools, and colleagues on implementing key features
• perform hands-on design/coding following best practices
• investigate, resolve and document production issues and resolutions
• take ownership of challenges and be self-driven

Your team

You’ll be working in the Infrastructure Access team in Pune, with colleagues and stakeholders in Singapore, Poland, Switzerland, UK and US. We provide access management services to all business divisions of the UBS group. Together as a team, we provide solutions to meet regulatory and compliance requirements in line with the established Corporate IT Standards.

Your expertise

• ideally 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer, with a strong focus on Angular, Spring Boot framework, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes, identity and access management, and finance sector background a plus
• experience with building and supporting Java applications using Spring Boot framework
• working experience with the SDLC process and AGILE methodology
• deep understanding of SQL, relational and non-relational databases, key value caches, message queues and other common application integration techniques
• deep understanding of best design and coding principles and software creation best practices
• ability to interpret user stories into technical requirements and tasks
