GENERAL DESCRIPTION:


This hiring of Investment Specialist Role hiring (headcount) is approved under the India Business Transformation strategy.

Investment Specialists is an important support function in the India strategy, and the current team needs to be strengthened for supporting a larger team of Relationship Managers as well as growing number of Advisory clients.


SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:


Personal and Social:


  • Good communication skills (verbal, written).
  • Good collaboration skills.


Professional and Technical:


  • Approx. 8-10 years experience.
  • Strong functional knowledge across asset and product classes
  • Certified as a Registered Investment Advisor under the SEBI IA Regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Good presentation skills.


KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION


Core Functional:


  • Providing end-to-end investment advisory services to Advisory clients with a special focus on direct equities as an asset class.
  • Profiling clients and documenting their investment objectives.
  • Tracking equity markets, creating model portfolios and building a robust direct equities offering within investment advisory.
  • Creating advisory pitches + investment proposals.
  • Carrying out portfolio reviews.
  • Providing regular guidance and advice with respect to markets, investments, products, etc.


Client Management (internal & external):


  • Working closely with Relationship Managers and their advisory clients.
  • Interacting regularly (including presentations) with clients for their advisory requirements.
  • Working closely with RMs, Team Heads and Business Heads for pitching the firms advisory credentials to prospects.


Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management:


  • Part of Investment Advisory Division.
  • Compliance with SEBI Investment Advisory Regulations.
  • Liaise with Legal/Compliance/Operations for process / documentation related aspects, and any regulatory requirements.
