As an Industry 4.0 (I4.0) Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business. The team will apply industry-leading best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.
Responsibilities and Tasks
You will collaborate with a skilled team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers to compose, analyze, and implement data science solutions. Your work will be crucial to identifying cost opportunities and delivering value across different business functions. Specifically, you will:
Drive identification and implementation of end-to-end AI-based solutions for cost reduction, collaborating with Procurement, Central Cost, Site Cost, and Program Management teams
Collaborate with Data Engineers & Data Scientists to efficiently implement I4.0 projects requiring coordination and support of resources from global teams
Quantify, track, and monitor the financial and operational impact of I4.0 solutions to the business
Identify new I4.0 use cases and guidelines within strategic and operational engineering and commercial processes
Develop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions and prioritize & propose projects for implementation
Think critically to break down complex data and processes, identifying key levers for applicable solutions
Qualifications
At least 5-10 years of work experience in Cost projects and Cost initiatives within Operations/Procurement functions
Familiar with processes, systems and solutions preferably in the semiconductor industry
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groups
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to work multi-functionally with peers, senior and mid-level management
Peer leadership and relationship management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and ability to remain flexible to the changing business needs
