Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Team Lead with strong expertise in Workday HCM, Absence Management, and Time Tracking, along with exposure to Workday Payroll and other modules. The candidate will lead drive requirement gathering, configuration efforts, manage E2E testing, and having experience with country go-lives.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership & Delivery
Lead Workday HCM, Absence, and Time Tracking workstreams.
Own solution design and alignment with global HR and Payroll processes.
Conduct requirement gathering with country HRs.
Configuration & Technical Execution
Perform hands-on configuration in HCM, Absence, and Time Tracking. Added advantage with Payroll experience.
Having basis knowledge in other modules such as Benefits, Core Compensation, Recruiting, or Talent.
Lead testing cycles including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, regression, and payroll parallel testing.
Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT for deployment alignment.
Governance & Documentation
Maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, test scripts, and design specs.
Ensure compliance with HR and Payroll regulatory guidelines.
Manage enhancements and tickets through established governance.
Required Qualifications
610 years of Workday experience; 3+ years as WD consultant with configuration experience.
Expertise in Workday HCM Core, Absence, and Time Tracking.
Strong knowledge of business processes, security, and calculated fields.
Understanding of Payroll domain and compliance.
