Sr. HIL Test Engineer

Qualification: ME / BE: E&TC / Mechatronics/ Automotive Electronics

Experience Range: 3 to 5 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Domain (Brake & Air functions)
• Design and implementation of HIL test bench
• Developing and optimizing HIL simulation models, rest bus simulation and software. 
• Test Development & validation for control software functions and strategies based on system/test architecture.
• Test-Level HIL and system test
• Working in an agile international team
• Development of test methods, test specifications, Execution of Tests, Reporting
• The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for development areas.

Must Have

• Working knowledge of ASM plant models and its model-based development in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience in creating simulated ECUs, rest bus simulation, ECU Architecture (AUTOSAR)
• Working experience in Automotive Braking ECUs
• Experience with CAN, LIN, J1939, Ethernet, Flashing & Diagnostic protocol
• Experience with dSPACE tool chain - Configuration Desk, Control Desk, Automation Desk, SYNECT & Vector Tools like CANoe / CANanalyser, INCA etc
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility for international travel (e.g. 3 months)

Good to Have

• Experience with V Model software development, Lean & Agile 
• ISTQB certification, Functional Safety, ASPICE
• CI/CD pileline,  Version and requirement management tools like JIRA, Confluence, SVN etc.

Software skills:

• MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace Control Desk, Configuration Desk, Automation Desk, Synect, Python, CANoe
