Job Purpose:

Independently execute geophysical interpretation and subsurface analysis of moderate complexity, providing reliable technical inputs to support project evaluation, risk assessment, and environmental studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic quality control of geophysical data (including well logs) acquisition and processing.
• Quality control syntheticseismic correlation with respect to wavelet and sonicdensity logs.
• Perform basic post-processing of seismic data to augment seismic interpretation.
• Independently interpret geophysical datasets, including seismic and logging data, within defined project scopes.
• Prepare rock-physics elastic/electrical models based on which both qualitative and quantitative seismic/electromagnetic data are interpreted.
• Identify and evaluate subsurface structures, stratigraphic features, and uncertainties, and assess their implications.
• Integrate geophysical interpretations with geological and hydrogeological models.
• Independently interpret pre-stack seismic data using the AVO technique.
• Assist in inverting post-stack and pre-stack seismic data for elastic properties.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, interpretation summaries, and presentations.
• Review consultant studies and provide technical feedback and validation inputs.
• Support the preparation of geophysical inputs for environmental and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain the quality and consistency of geophysical data, interpretations, and records.
• Coordinate with project and technical teams to support the timely delivery of subsurface inputs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters degree in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, or Earth Sciences.
• 58 years of experience in geophysical interpretation or subsurface analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of seismic interpretation and data integration techniques.
• Ability to work independently on assigned studies and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Professional judgment and attention to technical detail.
