GG12A-Principal Engineer I, Software Full Stack Development

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Full Stack Developer with at least 10 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and proficiency with identity provider solutions (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML). You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while ensuring secure authentication and authorization across platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highly responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies (React/Angular).
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems using frameworks like Java (Spring Boot) /Python/Node.js/.Net 6+.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring smooth integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Leverage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) to build, deploy, and scale applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and scaling of applications.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to manage infrastructure, including load balancing, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Integrate and manage Identity Providers (IdPs) using protocols like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML for secure authentication and authorization.
• Ensure applications follow best practices in security, performance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical leadership of the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in frontend development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
• Extensive experience with backend technologies: Java (Spring Boot) /Python/Node.js/.Net 6+.
• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless applications.
• Knowledge of databases: relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with RESTful, gRPC and GraphQL APIs design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML.
• Experience with API gateways and handling secure API communications.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and collaboration tools (Jira, Slack, Confluence).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Familiarity with security best practices (encryption, vulnerability scanning).
