Role Summary
The Junior HRIS & HR Operations Executive will support the day-to-day functioning of the HRIS platform and HR operations processes. The role focuses on accurate employee data management, leave & attendance administration, transaction processing, and timely support to HR stakeholders to ensure smooth employee lifecycle operations.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Administration
- Maintain & update employee master data in HRIS with high accuracy
- Execute employee lifecycle transactions: hiring, exits, promotions, transfers, personal data updates, etc.
- Conduct periodic data audits; identify & correct discrepancies
- Generate routine and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards
- Provide first-level support to HR/Employees on HRIS issues and escalate as necessary
- Assist in UAT/system testing during enhancements or new rollouts
Leave Management
- Administer leave transactions, validate records, and ensure policy compliance
- Monitor leave accruals and reconcile discrepancies with employees and payroll
- Support attendance processes including shift changes and exception handling
- Ensure timely updating of leave data during payroll processing
Employee Movement Transactions
- Process internal role/department/location changes on HRIS
- Coordinate with HRBPs and functional heads for workflow approvals
- Maintain documentation for movements and ensure adherence to SLAs
HR Operations & Service Delivery
- Support employee queries through HR Helpdesk / shared services channels
- Ensure compliance with HR data governance and audit requirements
- Prepare monthly MIS & HR operational reports
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience in HRIS tools such as SAP SuccessFactors / Oracle HCM / Workday / PeopleSoft (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong data management discipline
- Good communication, teamwork & multi-tasking ability
- Maintaining high confidentiality of employee information
Education & Eligibility
- Bachelors Degree or MBA in HR/related field preferred
- 13 years of experience in HRIS / HR Operations / shared service environment
