Job Description

Designation: Sr. Executive Human Resources - Generalist profile / Logistics Background only / Prefers Immediate Joinee / Available for Interview Immediately

Location: Mumbai Andheri East

CTC: 4.50 Lacs to 5.50 Lacs per annum



Role Summary

The Sr. Executive HR (Western Region) will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and HR analytics. The role requires hands-on execution as well as the ability to partner with management to drive people-related initiatives across the Western region.

Core Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions across the Western region
  • Source candidates through job portals such as Naukri and other relevant channels
  • Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate with line managers
  • Design and execute structured onboarding and induction programs to ensure smooth employee integration

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives such as town halls, team-building activities, and internal communication programs

Performance Management

  • Design, implement, and manage performance appraisal systems (including 360 feedback, where applicable)
  • Define measurable KPIs in alignment with business objectives
  • Manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and support managers in performance discussions

Compliance & HR Policies

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and SOPs
  • Ensure strict compliance with applicable labor laws, including Factories Act, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements
  • Coordinate audits and maintain statutory records as required

HR Operations & Payroll Support

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS/HRMS
  • Manage attendance, leave management systems, and employee documentation
  • Coordinate with payroll teams/vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

HR Strategy & Metrics

  • Track and analyze HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, cost-per-hire, and hiring cycle time
  • Prepare MIS and data-driven reports for senior management
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support workforce planning and business growth

Typical Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory)
  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred

Experience

  • 3 to 4 years of progressive experience across core HR functions
  • Prior experience handling recruitment, employee relations, and compliance is essential

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Hands-on experience with HR software/HRMS such as SPINEHR or similar platforms
