Location - Andheri (Marol), Mumbai

Experience - Minimum 4 to 6 years

What is your role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced candidate to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for freight forwarding company. The ideal candidate will manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, GST, TDS, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented and strategic thinker to ensure smooth financial processes and compliance with relevant regulations.

Job responsibilities:

1.Oversee and manage all vendor invoices and payments.

2.Ensure all client invoices are generated and sent in a timely manner.

3.Follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collections.

4.Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and ensure all payments are accurately recorded. 5.Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

6.Calculate and deduct TDS on applicable payments as per the Income Tax Act.

7.Reconcile TDS accounts and issue TDS certificates to vendors and employees.

8.Handle TDS notices and assist in resolving any related tax issues.

9.Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and trial balances.

10.Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations including corporate tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.

What are we seeking for:

Should be multilingual.

A smiling face, a healthy mind and body, and a positive attitude are a must.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software.

Knowledge for outlook, word and excel sheet.

Education Qualification - Graduate preferable
