Sr Engineer -VPS

1.Having fundamental understanding of vehicle drivetrain and powertrain functions in passenger vehicles & LCV segment to carry out 1-D simulations for fuel economy, gradeability and acceleration performance.

 

2.Analyze test data and co-relate simulation model and publish model co-relation reports with findings; participate in resolution of issues to understand gaps and close loop with updated inputs 

 

3.Build fuel economy and performance model of benchmark /competitor vehicles with the help of test data and support CFT with detailed insights during attributes target setting and hardware selection.

 

4.Having up to date knowledge of vehicle testing on chassis dyno for CO2 emission measurements and fuel economy as per different regulatory requirements like AIS 137, AIS 175, WLTC etc.  would be preferred.

 

5.Participate in reviews with CFT's for Functional Image evaluation for fuel economy & performance targets

Skills critical for the role:

. Good analytical skills to postprocess RWUP fuel economy & performance test data & finding avenues to improve with respect to program target.

2. Hands on experience in AVL Cruise / Cruise M, GT Suite, AVL Concerto, MATLAB, Simulink

3. Advance skills in excel, MATLAB ,PowerBI , python would be preferrable 

4. Sound knowledge of automotive powertrain & vehicle performance/dynamics

5. Good knowledge of data analysis fundamentals & hands on experience with analytical tools

6. Collaborative in nature to work across cross- functional teams seamlessly 

7.Experience in vehicle driving would be preferable to understand jury feedback.
