What Youll Do:

  • Design, build, and operate secure, cloud-native services and automation platforms that reduce cyber risk and eliminate manual security processes.
  • Develop backend services and APIs (Java/Spring, C#/.NET Core, or Go) to orchestrate identity, detection, response, and compliance workflows.
  • Build event-driven and data-driven automation integrating security tools, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Design and implement scalable, high-availability components, making sound decisions on performance, resilience, and failure handling.
  • Integrate AI-enabled capabilities (LLMs, RAG, embeddings) to improve automation accuracy, analyst productivity, and response effectiveness.
  • Deploy and operate services on AWS and Azure, leveraging managed services, serverless components, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices to enable reliable, repeatable releases.
  • Participate in design, code, and security reviews, ensuring secure-by-design and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity architects, product partners, and SRE teams to deliver reliable, observable, production-ready systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, implement fixes, and continuously improve reliability, performance, and security posture.
  • Mentor engineers and help raise overall engineering quality and security maturity.
  • Participate in innovative efforts and recommend tools, patterns, and process improvements.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.


What Youll Bring:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience building enterprise-grade software applications, including full-stack delivery.
  • Strong experience building automation platforms or event-driven systems that orchestrate workflows across multiple services.
  • Deep backend engineering expertise using Java/Spring, C#/.NET Core, or Go, including API design and development.
  • Proficiency with at least one major backend stack and one modern frontend framework.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, including managed services and serverless architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native design, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including:
  • Strong SQL skills and query optimization
  • Data modeling for automation and event processing
  • Experience with ETL, data integration, or data migration projects, including workloads with critical SLAs.
  • Background building systems for migrations, conversions, or enterprise-scale B2C platforms.
  • Experience designing internal frameworks, shared libraries, or reference architectures.
  • Working knowledge of secure coding practices, IAM, secrets management, and remediation of security findings.
  • Experience working with security-focused systems or domains (identity, vulnerability management, detection/response, compliance automation).
  • Familiarity with metadata-driven or low-code data integration frameworks.
