Sr. Electrical Design Engineer - Utility Scale Solar PV

Location: Ahmedabad | Full-time | Office-based

Experience: + 5 years (strictly utility-scale solar PV design)

This role is designed forexperienced electrical design professionals who have worked onlarge, ground-mounted solar PV projects and can independently handledetailed engineering deliverables across the project lifecycle.

• You are afresher, graduate trainee, or early-career engineer
• Your experience isprimarily site execution, commissioning, or O&M , without deep design ownership
• You have workedonly on rooftop, residential, or small C&I projects
• You do not haveend-to-end electrical design exposure for utility-scale plants
• You are unable to workfull-time from our Ahmedabad office

68 years of hands-on experience inelectrical design of utility-scale solar PV plants (typically 50 MW and above)

Strong command over:

• DC & AC system design
• Inverter sizing & selection
• SLDs, protection philosophy, and system losses
• MV/HV interface considerations

Proven experience preparingdetailed engineering drawings , calculations, and technical documentation

Proficiency inAutoCAD andExcel-based engineering calculations

Working knowledge ofIS / IEC / IEEE standards and grid compliance requirements

Ability to work withminimal supervision and takefull ownership of assigned packages

Bachelors / Masters degree in Electrical Engineering

Leaddetailed electrical design forground-mounted utility-scale solar PV plants

Develop and review:

• DC & AC SLDs
• Equipment sizing calculations
• Protection schemes and system layouts
• Prepareclient-ready drawings, BoQs, and technical submissions
• Coordinate closely withcivil, structural, and internal engineering teams to ensure design consistency
• Support internal reviews, value engineering, and constructability discussions
• Maintain high standards ofengineering quality, documentation, and version control

• Exposure tolarge utility-scale projects across India, MENA, SE Asia, and Africa
• Work oncomplex, high-impact projects rather than volume-driven drafting
• Direct mentorship from senior engineers withGW-scale project experience
