Sr DTP Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior DTP Specialist with advanced expertise in document formatting, graphic editing, and automation tools. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in the translation and localization industry and the ability to handle complex projects while guiding junior team members. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.

Working Time:

• 5:00 PM IST to 2:00 AM IST (Should be flexible as per requirements)

Candidate's Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the translation and localization industry or a related field.
• Proven expertise in document formatting, graphic editing.
• All candidates should understand the PC/Windows/MAC environment, knowledge of email, MS - Office and the Internet.
• Experience of using networks, other platforms, and any other application knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Format and edit documents as per client specifications. Handle complex document formatting and layout tasks using MS Word.
• Edit graphics as per the instructions using applications.
• Utilize macros and automation tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure on-time delivery and maintain high-quality standards.
• Review and provide feedback on work done by junior team members.
• Work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Mentor junior DTP specialists to improve team performance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure seamless execution.
• Troubleshoot DTP-related issues and suggest process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word for document formatting.
• Strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop or similar tools for graphic editing.
• Proven experience in DTP OCR processing and quality assurance.
• Advance Proficiency in using industry-standard OCR software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Pro, ABBYY FineReader).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
• Preferred: Knowledge of macros and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency.
