Job Summary:

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer you will be pivotal in driving the development and refinement of our groundbreaking hardware products. In this role, you will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including electrical, software, and mobile divisions, to ensure optimal integration and functionality of our products. Your expertise in embedded systems will be essential for pioneering new hardware designs and enhancing operational efficiency with an emphasis on low-power solutions.

Key Responsibilities and qualifications;

• Bachelors in Electronics & communication Engineering Background and should have Strong programming skills on C/Embedded C and C++ (basics).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience on working with different embedded platforms.
• Working knowledge of Micro-controller & Microprocessor (8bit, 16bit and 32bit).
• Hardware design & development with Digital / Analog/ Mixed-Signal Design Experience for Consumer / Industrial / Automotive markets.
• Microprocessor / FPGA /SoC/MPSoC design Experience - TI, NXP, Microchip, Xilinx, Altera FPGA & MSP430/STM32 Micro-controllers
• High Speed interfaces DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4, EMMC, PCIe, SATA etc.
• Experience in complete end-to-to product design & development life cycle which includes digital and analog design, Requirements capturing, Components selection, Schematic, BOM, PCB layout Support, Board bring up, testing.
• Experience in protocols like UART, USB, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI etc.
• Board level power distribution and power conversion
• Knowledge of micro-controller architectures and its interfacing
• Responsible for integrating and debugging hardware applications
• Responsible for Schematic Design & the PCB layout
• Instrument Knowledge - CROs, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Signal/Function Generators, Spectrum Analyzers
• Exposure to design tools - ORCAD, Allegro
• Product qualification / Compliances test experiences like ESS, EMI/EMC
• Handled the tasks of preparing documentation of detailed design of circuits
• Working knowledge of handling electronic measurement equipment such as Oscilloscope, function generator, Network analyzer etc.
• Extensive working experience on communication bus protocol like I2C/SPI/UART/CAN/RS232/RS422/ETH (10/100/1000) & related driver implementation.
• Good Understanding of CPU Architecture ARM, MIPS and PowerPC Hardware interfaces: Nand/NOR Flash, DDR SDRAM, PCI (variants).
• Candidate will have value added advantages if he has Hands on experience on Linux environment, BSP preparation/porting & Integration and other low-level HW interfaces.
