Job Description:

We are searching for a highly skilled **Senior Database Expert** with over 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in database design, management, and performance optimization across various database systems. Your role will involve working closely with our development and IT teams to create robust and scalable database solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain complex database systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Conduct database tuning and optimization to improve query performance and ensure efficient resource utilization.

- Manage database security, access, backup, and recovery processes.

- Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance, ensuring seamless integration with database solutions.

- Monitor database performance and implement corrective actions to resolve any issues.

- Design and implement database schemas, stored procedures, and triggers based on application requirements.

- Develop data models and architectural design to support business needs.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in database design, administration, and optimization.

- Proficiency in one or more major database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).

- Strong understanding of SQL and database performance tuning techniques.

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is highly desirable.

- Proven experience in managing and securing large-scale databases in production environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
