The Senior Customer Reporting Specialist is a key contributor within the Analytics team, responsible for delivering high-quality reporting, supporting complex data platforms, and acting as a trusted partner to stakeholders. This role combines hands-on analytical delivery with ownership of documentation, platform support, and knowledge continuity, mentoring and supporting team in day-to-day execution.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver complex Customer MI and analytics reporting using business travel data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency with defined standards
- Act as a secondary point of ownership for critical reporting processes, tools, and data platforms, providing continuity and coverage as needed
- Manage and support reporting workflows across tools such as Alteryx Server, databases, and downstream reporting outputs, including monitoring and resolution of failures
- Support and maintain configurations related to reporting platforms, schedules, reference data, and controlled inputs
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide analytical insights and recommendations
- Create and maintain structured process documentation and job aides
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify reporting logic, reduce manual effort, and strengthen platform stability
- Manage ITSM tickets and complex reporting requests within SLA expectations, escalating risks where appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- Go-getter who is quick learner, energetic, curious, creative, and proactive
- Bachelor’s degree where course work could include (either): SQL programming, statistics, travel, business analytics, finance, mathematics or related discipline
- Must have 5+ years of relevant work experience in data reporting & analytics, travel industry preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Advanced working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Strong understanding of data lineage, dependencies and reporting controls
- Experience using Alteryx or similar analytics tools to support reporting and data workflows
- Strong problem-solving ability with a structured analytical approach
- Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to document complex processes in a clear, structured, and reusable manner
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and present/discuss work results in a compelling manner.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support, coach, and collaborate across teams
- Excellent time management skills required – including ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast paced, multi-project environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including those needed to support customers in other regions
