About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and student-centric Student Counsellor Admissions who will guide prospective students and parents through the admission journey, provide program-related counselling, and support application conversions through effective engagement and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand students career goals and counsel them (and parents where required) on suitable programs offered by the university
- Conduct detailed profile assessments and guide students toward appropriate courses
- Generate and nurture leads through cold calling and tele-counselling
- Counsel prospective students and convert leads into applications
- Coordinate interviews and admission-related processes
- Respond to program inquiries from students and parents
- Arrange and support campus visits and student interactions
- Assist students with application form completion and documentation
- Conduct telephonic follow-ups and ensure timely closure of prospects
- Work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
Role Requirements
- 24 years of professional experience in student counselling / admissions / education industry
- Strong counselling, communication, and networking skills
- Ability to retain and explain program details, scholarships, accommodation & related information
- Strong relationship-building ability with students, parents, and internal teams
- Comfort working with diverse cultural and academic backgrounds
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and ability to work independently
