Here is an overview of your responsibilities:Demonstrate capital project management capabilities and professional experience in execution of Thermal Power or Energy sector projectsUnderstand and lead long term projects in the Power/ Energy sectorTake ownership of tasks and delivery with the ability to run your own work streamBe comfortable managing ambiguity and uncertain environmentsHave the willingness to learn and adapt to the changing project landscapeCommunicate and interact effectively with senior client personnel for delivering engagementsThe ideal Candidate:8-15 years of experience in executing large capital projects in Thermal Power or Energy sectors. Past working experience with a Big 4, Accenture or other reputed technical consultants in Capital Project Management is preferred.Should have good communication and BD SkillsKey Responsibilities:Support in business development activities across multiple market segments (Govt, Private Sector, International Geographies) and establish a robust sales pipeline Manage a portfolio of delivery projects and help in meeting engagement objectives set with the client oGenerate projectMIS, dashboards, and periodic project progress reports oAssist in defining and implementation of project governance processes oConduct periodic reviews with client leadership and execution teams oAnalyse project performance for identification and resolution of critical bottlenecks oSupport project execution by developing strategies to optimize project cost and cycle time oReview productivity at site and suggest means to improve the same oConduct project risk identification and mitigationMentor project execution team on ground in terms of various skills around client management, project management and business developmentSupport in firm level initiatives like recruitment & brandingEstablish good connects with senior leadership of existing as well as prospective clientsAssist in development and implementation of digital project management platformsDesired qualificationsB.E. Mech/Civil/Electrical from Tier 1/2 colleges + Post Graduation (MBA/Post graduate diploma in Construction Management)Location and way of workingBase location:Delhi/Odisha/Kolkata/BengaluruThis profile involves frequent travelling to client locations
