Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Head Likeness Artist to craft ultra-realistic human head models with exceptional likeness accuracy. This is a hands-on production role suited for artists with strong fundamentals in anatomy, scan-based workflows, and high-end texturing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D human head models using reference images or scan data.
• Sculpt detailed facial anatomy with precise bone landmarks and muscle structure accuracy.
• Utilize Texture XYZ maps and advanced texturing workflows for realistic skin rendering.
• Clean and refine scan/photogrammetry data into production-ready meshes.
• Bake clean maps (Normal, AO, Curvature, Cavity, etc.) optimized for real-time engines.
• Perform hair card creation and placement for realistic head grooming.
• Optimize assets for Unreal Engine / Unity without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with modeling, rigging, grooming, and animation teams.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in ZBrush.
• Advanced knowledge of Substance Painter, Mari, and Photoshop.
• Hands-on experience with Texture XYZ and scan-based pipelines.
• Strong understanding of PBR workflows and map baking processes.
• Experience working with real-time engines (Unreal / Unity).
• Deep knowledge of human facial anatomy and likeness capture.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong iteration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on AAA game titles.
• Knowledge of blendshapes and facial rigging.
• Familiarity with grooming tools such as XGen or Ornatrix.
