The companys packaged snacks and savory products form the core of its business, contributing the majority of its revenue. Known for its wide distribution network across modern trade, traditional retail, and e-commerce channels, it focuses on continuous product innovation, consumer-centric marketing, and sustainable growth. The company emphasizes operational excellence, category leadership, and long-term value creation while expanding its market reach both domestically and internationally.
Experience: 12+ years total; minimum 5 years in Category Management within FMCG
Qualification: Graduate + PGDM/MBA
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end category strategy to drive growth across online & offline channels
- Manage product portfolio, pricing, promotions, packaging revamp, and media planning
- Plan and execute annual category budgets with P&L and margin ownership
- Develop creative briefs and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies
- Drive new product launches with 5-year sales projections, GTM strategy, and consumer insights
- Ensure strong execution of brand marketing plans and campaign calendars
- Lead BTL initiatives across modern trade (MT) and general trade (GT) to drive sales
- Maintain relationships with advertising, digital, and research agencies
- Leverage market, consumer, and competition insights for strategic decision-making
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, R&D, Operations, and E-commerce teams
- Apply a data-driven, strategic mindset to influence planning and execution
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bring an entrepreneurial, solution-oriented approach with high ownership
- Focus on understanding consumer needs through empathy and actionable insights
