Roles and Responsibilities

Discovery & Analysis

• Plan and conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, fitgap analysis, and ASIS/TOBE process mapping
• Define scope, assumptions, constraints, and business value; draft problem statements and success metrics
• Perform impact assessments across people, process, data, and technology

Requirements & Design Support

• Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and nonfunctional requirements (performance, security, compliance)
• Produce BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframes, and use cases
• Lead configvscustom tradeoffs; maximize outofthebox (OOB) capabilities; align with architecture and governance
• Collaborate with solution architects and developers on feasibility, sizing, and design decisions

Data, Integration & Reporting

• Define data migration scope (masters, transactions, history), mapping, validation, and reconciliation plans
• Specify integration requirements (nearrealtime vs batch), error handling, SLAs, and idempotency expectations
• Capture reporting/analytics needs (KPIs, dashboards, regulatory output, auditability) and data quality rules

Cutover, Hypercare & Adoption

• Prepare cutover plans, mock runs, golive checklists, and contingency plans
• Support hypercare, issue triage, and stabilization; enable knowledge transfer and runbooks
• Develop training plans and rolebased education; drive change communications and adoption KPIs

Governance, Delivery & Documentation

• Maintain a clean requirements traceability matrix (RTM) and keep artifacts current
• Contribute to backlog management, prioritization, and release planning with the Product Owner
• Report RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies); ensure alignment to security, privacy, and localization standards

Key Competencies & Behavioural Skills

• Design Quality: Fitgap closure rate, change requests due to design gaps
• Testing Outcomes: UAT pass rate, defect leakage to production, rework effort
• Adoption & Value: User adoption/NPS, timetovalue for key processes, training effectiveness
• Data Readiness: Firstpass data migration accuracy, reconciliation success
• Delivery Predictability: Milestone adherence, scope variance, golive stability (incident volume/MTTR)
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem solving
• User empathy with a changemanagement mindset
• Ownership, attention to detail, and collaboration across business and technical teams
• Ability to contextswitch and manage multiple initiatives in parallel

Functional (BusinessCentric)

• Strong understanding of business processes in Finance (P2P/O2C/R2R), Sales & CRM, Supply Chain, Inventory/WMS, HR, Projects/Services
• Process modelling with BPMN or equivalent; experience with workflows/approvals and segregation of duties considerations
• Comfort with multicompany/multicurrency, tax/localization, audit/compliance requirements
• Ability to define KPIs, success metrics, and operational dashboards for process health

Technical

• Handson with requirements tools: Azure DevOps/Jira/Confluence, Visio/Miro/Lucidchart (process flows), and wireframing tools (Figma/XD/Sketch awareness)
• Familiarity with at least one enterprise application suite (e.g., Dynamics 365 F&O/CE, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow)
• Data & Integration awareness: Data models, ETL/ELT concepts, APIs/OData/REST, error handling patterns
• Reporting/BI awareness: Power BI/Tableau KPI definitions; data validation and reconciliation approaches
• Security & Compliance: Role-based access, PII/GDPR-like data handling, audit trails, change control
• ALM basics: Environments, versioning, release notes, and promotion paths (Dev Test UAT Prod)

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Commerce, or related discipline
• MBA/PGDM or domain certifications (e.g., CIMA/CA/CMA/CSCP/CPIM/ITIL) are advantageous for relevant tracks
• IIBA ECBA/CCBA/CBAP or PMIPBA (Business Analysis)
• Scrum/Agile: PSM I/II or CSM, SAFe Agilist/Practitioner (as applicable)
• Microsoft: PL200 (Power Platform Functional), MB210/MB230 (Dynamics 365 Sales/Service), MB310/MB330 (F&O)
• ITIL Foundation (for ITSM/AMS environments) is a plus
