Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) who is proficient in designing and developing scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in microservices architecture, API development, and cloud-native systems, with a strong understanding of Golang and backend best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.

Architect and implement microservices that are robust, efficient, and secure.

Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Implement and manage databases, caching layers, and message queues.

Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes to ensure system stability.

Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services as needed.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

48 years of backend development experience, with 1-2 years experience in Golang.

Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and distributed systems.

Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or NATS).

Solid grasp of concurrency patterns and asynchronous programming in Golang.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or event-driven architectures.

Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Familiarity with security best practices in backend systems (OAuth, JWT, encryption).

Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub portfolio.

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
