We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Lead (Python) to drive the architecture and development of a scalable, multi-tenant SaaS-based EMR platform. The role focuses on building high-performance backend systems, designing configurable product architectures, and implementing secure access control frameworks. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Python frameworks and experience building complex SaaS products with advanced workflows, configurable modules, and enterprise-grade security models.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend services using Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.
• Design multi-tenant architectures with effective tenant isolation and data segregation.
• Build configuration-driven systems to support region-specific workflows and regulatory needs.
• Develop secure RBAC and granular permission systems for module, field, and action-level control.
• Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven communication between services.
• Optimize databases using PostgreSQL, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
• Implement caching solutions using Redis to improve system efficiency.
• Ensure high security standards including encryption, audit logging, and secure authentication (JWT/OAuth2/SSO).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and AWS deployment.
• Lead backend engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in backend development with strong Python expertise.
• Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms, RBAC systems, and workflow engines.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving, architecture design, and technical leadership capabilities.
