About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on Azure App Services and the integration of Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between cloud infrastructure and AI development, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency of AI-powered applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Manage and optimize Azure resources to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Automate deployment processes using Azure DevOps and other CI/CD tools.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and trends to continuously improve solutions.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI capabilities into applications using Azure OpenAI Service APIs and SDKs.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, leveraging services like Azure AI Search for data indexing and retrieval.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, specifically App Services, Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Virtual Networks.
• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, and AI development; knowledge of other languages like C# is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Bicep).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
• Understanding of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines and vector databases.
