Sr Associate Software Engineering

Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer with strong UI/UX skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI, while ensuring an intuitive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Integrate data from various sources and build data models.
• Create DAX queries and functions to enhance report functionalities.

UI/UX Design:

• Apply UI/UX principles to create engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing dashboards.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve the user experience.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new reports and dashboards.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Use data visualization best practices to present data in an easily understandable format.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills and experience.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., PBI,Tableau, Qlik).
• Experience with SQL, Snowsql and database management.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Certification in Power BI or UX Design is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
