Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in SDET Test Automation Data flow from source to target Katalon Webdriver IO (AFS Vision) Docker Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Cards & Payments domain. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
Lead the quality assurance efforts for our Cards & Payments projects to ensure high standards of software quality.Oversee the design development and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium TestNG and Java.Provide expertise in Docker and Jenkins to streamline the CI/CD pipeline and enhance the efficiency of the testing process.Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the build and deployment processes using Maven.Utilize Jira for tracking and managing defects ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high-quality standards.Conduct thorough testing of PL/SQL scripts to validate data integrity and accuracy within the Cards & Payments systems.Implement and maintain test environments ensuring they are up-to-date and reflective of production systems.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional regression and performance testing.Mentor and guide junior quality engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.Analyze test results identify root causes of issues and provide actionable insights to the development team.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testability.Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics.
Qualifications
Possess strong experience in automated testing tools such as Selenium and TestNG.Have a solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins and Docker.Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages particularly Java.Exhibit expertise in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.Show experience in building and managing test environments using Maven.Have a deep understanding of PL/SQL for database testing.Bring domain knowledge in Cards & Payments ensuring relevant and effective testing strategies.Display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding and mentoring junior team members.Show commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.Have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
