This role is ideal for individuals with entry-level experience in network design engineering. The primary responsibility is to develop network designs for wireless, wireline, and broadband infrastructure. Utilizing essential tools and engineering principles, you will create, design, and troubleshoot network infrastructure in accordance with approved guidelines. As a member of a 24x7 network infrastructure management team, your duties will include:

• Operating within a 24x7 rotational shift model to review projects, change requests, or incident tickets related to the network, using ITSM tools, emails, and other communication methods.
• Logging into the network to understand and identify the scope of requests or incidents and taking necessary actions to implement requests or troubleshoot incidents.
• Setting up conference calls to collaborate with partner or vendor teams for troubleshooting and coordinating activities to successfully resolve incidents.
• Participating in conference calls to deliver planned changes and complex project deliverables.
• Managing documentation, including inventory and diagrams.
   

Key Competencies/Skills:

• Proficiency in networking, with the ability to log in, troubleshoot, and configure routers, switches, and other networking devices.
• Strong communication skills to handle complex discussions on conference calls, coordinating between multiple engineers and project managers globally.
• Preferred qualifications include a CCNA or higher certification, or equivalent experience with any relevant OEM technology.
• Additional advantage if experienced in project management or incident management on network projects.
   

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math or Science.
• Preferred: Degree in Engineering.
