Job Description
Summary of Position:
Alcon is looking to hire a Workday Human Resources Information System – Business Analyst (HRIS – BA) to join our HRIS team at Bengaluru in India. The HRIS BA will develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's business, structure, challenges, and requirements within the context of the customer's business sector. As the single point of contact to the business for the functional area represented, they facilitate interaction and coordination between HR Operations leadership, the vendor and customer resources to optimize results. The BA will also track and identify service delivery trends across customers and provide feedback to HRIS Management to the benefit of all of HRIS customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the client relationship as the Liaison between the business, technical team and software vendors defining and gathering business requirements and if required the cost benefit analysis, explaining new functionality options, upgrades, process changes, resolving escalated issues, as well as ongoing operational support including delivery of enhancements and possible projects with associated communication and change management.
Ensure HRIS services are aligned with business strategy, business objectives, business requirements, standards, and regulations.
Understand the processes, plans, objectives, drivers, and issues related to the business capability, as well as the appropriate external policies and regulations.
Provide HRIS consulting to the capability stakeholders, educate them on Information System processes and methodologies and drive adoption of global solutions.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business or Related Field
Minimum 4 – 6 Years’ experience required with 4 or more years of experience with Workday.
Certified in Workday HCM (optional)
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Masters in business administration or equivalent Master’s degree
Project Management and/or Process design experience is a plus.
Shift Timings: 11AM to 9PM window with slight flexibility
