Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrating with databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Implement microservices architecture and ensure high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with RESTful API design and JSON/XML data formats.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or other testing frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Docker, ECS or containerization.
• Familiarity with security best practices in backend development.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
